ST MARY THE VIRGIN, GAMLINGAY
St Mary's Sunday school, called Stepping Stones, meets in the Church Hall each Sunday morning during term time from 9.15am to 10.30am.
Children can join us from the age of three. Currently there are children up to the age of ten.
Stepping Stones also help and prepare some of the services throughout the Church's year.
Just before Christmas and on Good Friday, there is a Craft Day in the Church Hall or in Church, when all Stepping Stone children come and spend time making and working on a variety of craft projects.
The children also have the opportunity to join in with the Church service each week, and thus become part of the church community. Stepping Stone children and teachers join the congregation for a blessing or Holy Communion about three quarters of the way through the Parish Eucharist.
Stepping Stones is offered free of charge. The Parochial Church Council finance the teaching resources.
