Dear Friends, From Monday 9th through to Thursday 12th April we held our Easter Holiday Bible Club in the British School. Each day started at 10am and finished at 12.30pm. Activities consisted of games, word search, painting, candle making, craftwork, videos, and a Bible Story. Both the children and the helpers were kept busy and all enjoyed themselves. This is becoming an annual event in the church calendar. We believe it’s good for the children to come and hear the Gospel in an atmosphere where they can enjoy themselves, have fun, and hopefully go away with something that will benefit them in the future. For the disciples, being with Jesus was never boring. People were drawn to him like metal is drawn to a magnet. The church is made up of sinners who have been saved by the grace of God. Ordinary people who have had an experience of the Risen Lord and who know him as their own personal Saviour. Ordinary people who live in the power of Christ's resurrection, and whose lives are being changed by the love of God. We know very well (at least I do) that we are not all that we should be, we say things that we should not say and do things that we should not do, but there is forgiveness. Being a follower of Jesus is not boring. It's exciting, challenging, not easy, it takes 'back bone and not wish bone.' So, why not 'taste and see that the Lord is good'. God bless you, Tom Elsby
