GAMLINGASY VILLAGE SHOW The tenth annual show will take place on Saturday, 14th September on the Village College site. As the committee stated in last year’s show programme, we feel that the time is right for us to retire and so bring the following to your attention: The tenth Village show could be the last Village show A new committee with fresh ideas is needed A few people have expressed an interest but we need to attract more people onto the committee if this is to continue The show need not continue in its present format but could evolve into a different kind of event This could be an opportunity to revive the Gala, together with the floats The Show could move to the Community Centre The possibilities are endless but only with your help. A meeting will be held on Monday, 18th March at Gamlingay First School at 7.30pm for anyone who is interested in working to maintain our Village Show in some form in the future. If you require any information before that date, please contact the members of the committee at either Gamlingay First School (Heather Brewer, Jan Cooper, Ros Hissett) or at Gamlingay Village College (Vic Cook, Elaine Dolling, Dave Stanforth) Thank you for your support over the past nine years and your continued interest in the future.
