WHODUNIT?

Players

A terrible crime has been committed at the Manor! There has been a murder! Can you help ‘Gamlingay Players’ solve this awful crime?

  • Are you more shrewd than Sherlock?
  • Can you out-wit Morse?
  • Will you leave Frost floundering?
  • Would Miss Marple come to you for help?

If so, then come along to the Community Centre on Saturday, 20th October at 8pm, for a ‘Murder-Mystery Evening’, hosted by ‘Gamlingay Players’. We need teams of 6 detectives to work together to solve the clues presented to you in the first act of the play, ‘Murder at the Manor’. During the interval, you will be served with a Ploughman’s Supper and have the opportunity to decide on the identity of the murderer. Your solution sheets will be collected in and the murderer will be revealed during the short second act. There will also be a ‘Detect the Detectives’ quiz to aid your digestion during the interval.

This full evening’s entertainment, complete with supper, is yours for only £6 per person. There will not be a bar, so please bring your own drink and glasses.

We will be contacting clubs and societies to invite them to enter a team but individuals are very welcome to come along and form teams on the night.

All profits from the evening will go towards buying new tops for our stage, as our old ones are now becoming rather creaky (a bit like some of our actors!).

This will be a taster for our next production, ‘Houseguest’, a thriller by Francis Durbridge, to be performed on a creak-free stage from Thursday, 15th November to Saturday, 17th November.

We have appreciated the wonderful support from the village over the past 36 years and hope to see you at our next two events.
