Letter from Rev Garwood Tydeman

Dear Editor,

I know many friends have been concerned about my welfare as for a few weeks during last Summer I was quite "under the weather". In fact I had hospital treatment for an eye infection. I am thankful to say I am now much better and able to resume some of my usual activities.

At the same time, living in Wokingham with my daughter and son-in-law, I am taking life fairly quietly, as I feel justified in doing as I have recently celebrated my 91st birthday.

I do not forget both old and new friends, and send you all my very warm greetings.

I may add that I am a reader of The Gazette, which my son sends to me, and I congratulate all concerned in its production. It seems to be a very useful medium, helping to draw the various groups and activities in Gamlingay together.

Yours sincerely
Rev. Garwood Tydeman
Former Minister of Gamlingay Baptist Church
