Millennium Competition
Create a calendar for 2001
Ages 4 to 13

To enter; illustrate one of the twelve months of the year, in black and white, or colour, on A4 paper.

Pick your favourite month, your birthday month, a month when something special happens ... it doesn’t matter as long as you are a Gamlingay resident and are aged between 4 and 13 years (or year 8).

The closing date is Thursday June 15th. On the back of your picture please write:-

  • Your name and age
  • A contact address or telephone number
  • The month you have illustrated and the reason why

Entries can be handed in to Gamlingay First School, The Village College, The Library or The Parish Council Office.

The winning pictures will be used to make a village calendar for 2001 and the money raised from the sales will go to Village Charities.

The winners will be announced, and the entries displayed, at the Village Party at the Recreation Ground (Community Centre) on Saturday 24th June. Go on, have a go, you never know, it may be your picture chosen to illustrate one of the months in the Village’s 2001 calendar. But you’ll never know unless you try.
